About Tandem Transport Co., Inc.
Tandem Transport Co., Inc. was started in Lancaster, South Carolina in 1990. The company ownership changed in 2002. Tandem Transport’s
emphasis is on maintaining high standards of performance and long term relationships with shippers and carriers.
Our ICC License was obtained in January of 1990. Tandem Transport offers a variety of truck load services including flatbeds, vans, step decks, and reefers. We also provide these same services for heavy and over dimensional loads.
For shippers, every load we move for you receives the attention that ensures that your freight is being moved by a fully licensed and
insured carrier. Tandem Transport screens the carriers to see that Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements are currently met for motor carrier operations.
Insurance certificates for the carriers are in file prior to your load being moved. We are accessible by telephone if needed regarding
your freight.
For carriers, Tandem Transport will provide all available information about each load to ensure that your drivers have the support
needed to complete their assignments. As evidenced by Tandem Transport’s status as a Gold Book Broker, you are assured that you will
receive prompt payment after receipt of your freight bill and bill of lading / proof of delivery. We are accessible by telephone if
