​ We began our business with the simple principle of assisting people safely and respectfully with transportation to doctor’s visits and elsewhere, especially those who require wheelchairs or stretchers.
We all need help from time to time, some more than others, and we believe in paying it forward when we can. Along the way we are allowed the privilege of meeting some wonderful people, and how amazing is that?

Treating you as we would our own family...

The condition and cleanliness of our fleet is a top priority. 

Each of our ambulances, wheelchair vans,  and stretcher van are built to meet the requirements of the American Disabilities Act. In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our customers, we operate under a strict set of vehicle maintenance standards. In addition to daily vehicle checks, all of our vehicles undergo routine  inspections and are part of a rigorous year-round preventative maintenance program which is overseen by a certified mechanic. We utilize Stryker power stretchers and power load systems in our ambulances for the safety of our team members and patients, and our wheelchair vans are equipped with Braun lifts.  We work hard to be sure that our equipment performs as required for the safe transport of our patients and crews alike.

We employ the most rigorous standards possible when hiring our team members, ensuring that every measure is taken to be certain our patients will be taken care of while using Tandem Transport.​

​All drivers & EMTs have:

• ​Clean driving records
• Passed both state and national criminal and sexual registries
• Clean multi-level drug screens
• Certifications for CPR, First Aid, as well as DHEC certifications as required
• Driver training for emergent and non-emergent vehicles per DHEC and ORS standards
• Ongoing training for all personnel

Serving Our Community

We do our best to make a difference in our community through various social and community organizations. 
A portion of Tandem Transport's proceeds are donated to non-profit organizations which assist the elderly, the homeless, orphaned animals, and others in need.
